Hello and welcome to Bakewell School of Dance & Theatre Arts. Established in 1988 by principal Jill Ferguson A.I.D.T.A M.I.D.T.A Batchelor of Education. Equity, assisted by Glenn Trickett F.I.D.T.A. Bakewell School of Dance & Theatre Arts offers comprehensive theatre training for all ages and abilities, regular performance work at Buxton Opera House regular I.D.T.A examinations. Many pupils go on to professional levels and performance work. We are an I.D.T.A School, recognised by the Department of Education and Employment. R.A.D mutually recognised.
